Fishing in the area

There are many idyllic places to fish at in the area but what could be better than a ten minute stroll down a footpath through a farm to a lake hidden amongst the hills and completely out of sight from the road.

Devoke Water
Devoke water is one of the smallest lakes in the lake district, but nevertheless is nearly a mile long.

The fishing rights are held by Millom Angling Association a day pass can be obtained locally that enables you to fish on two still waters, Devoke water and a nearby reservoir as well as seven sections of nearby river.

Tickets can be purchased on a daily or weekly basis which covers all the waters costing £15 per day £75 Per week.
