The Schoolhouse

Description
The Schoolhouse is a cosy self contained building standing privately on it's own facing due south up the fell land offering character studio accommodation for two people. It would be possible to accomodate a child on the sofa bed but you would want to turn it back into a sofa during the day.

Layout

Situated adjacent to the conservatory, a path leads round to the front door where you enter into the combined lounge/dining/kitchen/bedroom area with exposed beams and stone walls.

A door leads from the bedroom area to the ensuite bathroom which has a spacious shower, hand basin and WC.

All areas are furnished with care and thought.

Please note that the greenhouse is undergoing some refurbishment during 2010, but the door to it has blinds which can be used to block it from view. From some point in 2011 it is hoped that the greenhouse will be a working greenhouse although it will be supplied with a bistro table and chairs for your use.

Views
From the bedroom and garden there are views towards Scafell Pike, Bow Fell and Crinkle Craggs

Garden
A south facing garden area surrounds two sides of the Schoolhouse but is not totally enclosed.

Pets
Pets welcome (but not allowed downstairs into the bedroom or on the furniture)

• Lounge area with sofabed, 32" LCD TV, Sky Digital (all channels except box office!), DVD player
• Kitchen area has a four ring gas cooker and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and the usual utensils and crockery
• Dining area with dresser, table and chairs
• Ensuite bathroom with large "rain" shower and integral hand shower, WC and basin
• Iron, ironing board and hairdryer
• Broadband internet access, if you provide your own computer (subject to booking conditions)
• Night storage heating
• Electricity and gas inclusive
• Duvets, full linen & towels inclusive
• Garden area with garden furniture, (The garden is not yet fully enclosed)
• Ample parking
• From spring 2010 it is hoped that the greenhouse/conservatory will be be supplied with a bistro table and chairs for your use although it will be used as a working greenhouse by the owners
